Innocent Big Knit

Hats from Innocent's hall of fame

Congratulations Judi Walton, who knitted a whopping 42 of the 145 Innocent smoothie hats received by our competition deadline, including this marvellous fox.  The prize draw picker picked her name and she wins a skein of handdyed sock yarn from Sparkleduck or Third Vault Yarns.

Every year, Innocent smoothie bottles get little knitted and crocheted hats.  For every hatted bottle sold, Innocent donate 25p to Age UK.  Last year, knitters’ efforts raised over £215,000.  Let’s help them this year with our Christmas #BigKnit.  You can use an Innocent pattern or design your own to fit (bottle approx 2.5” wide at shoulders).   Your bottle toppers will go proud display in the shop window until we send them off to Innocent in January and will appear for sale in October 2017.  Not only will your hat be admired by its buyer, do good for Age UK and look awesome in our window display, it might win you a skein of lovely in the prize draw here.  Hats received here by 5pm Wednesday 7th December will go in the prize draw to win a skein of handdyed Sparkleduck or Third Vault Yarns sock yarn of winner's choice from the shelves. Multiple hats = multiple entries.  With your hat(s), please include a slip with your name, how many you’ve made, the date you made them, your postal and email address (these will be shared with Innocent so they can thank you).  The winner will be contacted by email and announced on our Facebook page, Twitter and Ravelry by December 9th and must collect their prize from the shop.  The winner will be chosen by a random number generator.  The prize cannot be swapped for cash or an alternative though The Sheep Shop reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.  Entries open to anyone of any age.  Photos of decorations submitted, and the name of the winner, may be used online or in press articles.
